AWARD FROM GHANA MINISTRY OF ARTS , TOURISM AND CULTURE

Amina Kassim was honored by Ghana’s Ministry of Arts, Tourism, and Culture at the prestigious National Tourism and Arts Awards as the Overall Best in the Creative Arts Category. This recognition highlights her outstanding contributions to the arts and her role in promoting Ghana’s cultural heritage, celebrated by a national institution renowned for preserving and showcasing the country’s rich artistic and cultural legacy.

Amina Kassim was honored as one of the top four artist experts selected by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) to judge the 2024 Africa Youth Art Competition, representing the West African regional bloc. This prestigious role highlights her artistic excellence and dedication to fostering resilience through creative expression, empowering young artists to address climate and disaster challenges with impactful storytelling.

In June 2022, Amina Kassim’s artwork Ramadan was adopted by the prestigious Naila Art Gallery in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as a featured portrait for the Ramadan season. Recognized among the gallery’s top 5 collections out of over 60 curated pieces, this honor highlighted the artwork’s universal appeal and its profound depiction of community, empathy, and cultural connection in one of the region’s most prominent art venues.
